Retiro do Bosque is a gorgeous four-storey Quinta surrounded by nature in a village called Minde. We will have the house completely to ourselves, with plenty of desks, balconies and outdoor areas to write. Each room has a private bathroom for your convenience and comfort.

Rest in a comfortable, bright room with a double bed and desk just for you. There are plenty of power outlets in your room as well as reliable Wi-Fi. Your room will also have a private bathroom with a shower.

Share a room with one other guest for a cosy communal experience. Your bed will be a comfy single. And if you're traveling alone, no worries! We'll be sure to pair you up with a kind roommate. All shared rooms have private bathrooms.

We'll be creating a WhatsApp group nearer the time of the retreat so you can arrange carpools with fellow guests.
Transportation Options from Porto
Public buses. Take the Rede Expressos bus from Porto Campanhã to Fátima. From there, take a taxi or carpool to Minde.
By car. Follow the AI towards Lisbon until you reach exit 5. Take exit 5, then follow the N360 to Minde.

Public buses. Take the Rede Expressos bus from Lisbon Sete Rios to Fátima. From there, take a taxi or carpool to Minde.
By car. Follow the AI towards Santarém until you reach exit A23. Take exit A23, then follow the road to exit Alcanena/Minde. Turn onto the N360 and follow the road to Minde.

Minde is located between Leiria and Santarém, just west of the Parque Natural das Serras do Aire e Candeeiros. The area has multiple cultural highlights and nature trails, including the Rota Circular de Minde, which begins at the northeast edge of our retreat space's property.
